The Root Beer Tasting Contest

Annually on Sam's Birthday we have a Root Beer tasting contest to see how well people know there root beer brands and which ones are people's favorite. For the second year in a row, the Safeway brand won for best taste. Our next best tasting was IBC. The worst taste (for most) was Virgil's, mostly because it has a stronger licorice flavor then most. A&W, which is everybody's claimed favorite was for the second time came in as our dead middle contestant. MUG also went as an unnoticed middle winner, right below A&W. Try it yourself and see how you do. These were our brands, but I recommend just buying whatever your nearest grocery store has: Natural Brew, Virgil's, Stewarts, Whole Foods Brand 395, MUG, Parkers (the Safeway Brand), A&W and IBC.
